US Patent Reform Bill re-introduced
The Patent Reform Act of 2009 has been introduced in the USA Senate on 4th March, 2009. Like the earlier bill, which had lapsed, the bill seeks to introduce various provisions that harmonizes the US law with that in most other countries by introducing first to file system, reasonable royalty provisions and so on. It is believed that the bill if passed would make the process of acquiring a patent easy and prevent frivolous law suits.
